Your Path to
HHC Certification
A clear, respectful process designed to honor your training while upholding professional standards.
Step 1: Submit Your Application
Complete the online application form with your contact information, primary healing modality, practice website (if applicable), and training background. Pay the one-time $350 board review fee to initiate the process.
Step 2: Documentation Review
The IBOH review team examines your application materials, including your training credentials, scope of practice, and any supporting documentation. This step ensures that candidates meet the baseline qualifications for professional holistic practice.
Step 3: Ethics Agreement
All candidates must read, understand, and formally agree to the IBOH Code of Ethics. This published code governs your professional conduct as a board-certified practitioner and is the cornerstone of your HHC designation.
Step 4: Board Review & Decision
Your complete application is reviewed by the IBOH credentialing team. You will be notified of the outcome within 10-15 business days. Approved candidates advance to credential issuance. If additional information is needed, you'll be contacted directly.
Step 5: Credential Issuance
Upon approval, you receive your HHC digital certificate, Board-Certified seal, and your profile is activated in the IBOH Global Practitioner Directory. You may immediately begin using the HHC post-nominal letters.
